They have to follow what Korea tells them to do though, according to what I've been reading Korea slapped the client on their desk of the Japanese version I think gotta dig deeper and said "Hey translate this nothing more". With that sad excuse called WildStar that was something they tried to create from scratch so it SHOULD be ok.
I know... I know but look at it this way, aside from Wildstar which the first game the Western side has ever tried to make from scratch they've continued to do pretty well when it comes to games that they are under the thumb of Korea for. Example Lineages, they are still making massive money to this day on them, GW2 is still seeing most of their serves with heavy load, etc. I think so long as they follow what they are told and it's not super americanized and the content flows at a good pace we should be safe with NCSoft. I keep an eye on their news feeds every day to see what they are doing and the changes they are making, and so far not much has been altered and they've even decided to go F2P with a premium option which doesnt effect much, it's like a copy of Tera's premium so I am thinking and hoping it will go well.
