Hey everyone! My name is John Cooper. But I go by either Coop or Coopidge online. Not "coolidge" like the president, CooPidge. You'd be surprised how often I hear the incorrect version. Other nicknames range from "Kool, Coop, John, and Bad." Bad isn't an adjective, it's a shorter version of an old gamertag. So any of those are fine. So! Aside from all of that which could've been a single sentence, what is there to say about myself? Well, I'm an aspiring writer -if you couldn't tell from my long-winded and pretentious nature- and I am currently attending a vocational school for Digital Media. There, I spend about three or so hours of the day learning film production, script writing, commercial development, and getting certified in programs such as Photoshop and After Effects. I have all of these programs on my personal computer as well so I can make things at home. As far as gaming goes, I suppose I've been hooked since 2001 when I played "Sonic Adventure" for the first time on the Sega Dreamcast. I have this vivid memory in my head of watching Sonic's running animation on the character select screen and thinking it was the coolest shit in the world. My brother is about eight years older than me and he practically forged all of my gaming interests. He introduced me to The Legend of Zelda, Halo, Sonic, and of course Destiny. I was quite the no-life back in 2010 when Halo Reach came out. I probably spent about six or seven hours a day playing it alongside attending middleschool. It was great. I won a regional tournament and it was the raddest day of my youth. I dropped from the Halo scene after Halo 4 rubbed me the wrong way. That leads us to Destiny. I joined Vanilla a little late in November of 2014 about three weeks before Dark Below came out. At first, I was feeling mixed on the verge of negative overall in regards to the game's quality. Then I beat Crota's End... Then I soloed Crota's End.. And it was all down hill from there. I never stopped, and have played every single expansion far too much. I'm a big PVE guy, but my roots are in Halo PVP. That being said, I made a point of going flawless at least once a DLC. Sometimes three times, but not many. This was all on Xbox One. Recently, in about June, I switched to PS4 because I needed them exclusives dammit! And now I'm here. I'm looking for a good community and am hoping to God I finally found one here. I want active members, group calls, fun raid challenges, all that shit. And if I take three good friends away from this place, it'll be a success in my book. So I'm glad I found Lethality, and hope to stay for a while.
