It explains the difference between Standard Time and Daylight Savings Time. Since this guild has people from all over the world, incorrectly differentiating between the two could have unintended consequences, e.g. people being late to events.
That is ET, Eastern Time, or EDT after daylight savings happens. Just saying. If you google Eastern Standard Time, it gives the time in ET, because that's what most people are looking for. But if you were international, that would be confusing, because most of the world does not use daylight savings time. I'm not arguing semantics here, I'm just trying to help out our international friends.
