    Intro:
Alright so while waiting for release i did a bit of research for all you guys that love to get into alts, and believe me there's a lot you can do with them too. I comprised everything I've learned into here so y'all can go crazy with them at launch. So sit back, grab some popcorn, your favorite drink and read on.

    Tips (the juicy stuff):
1.) There is a quick character switch interface that allows you to avoid having to log in and out of the game, however the character you are logging into must be level 4

2.) All characters in your account share the same max cap for energy and contribution points.

3.) All characters share the same current and max values for contribution points. If your main is 5/50, then all of your alts will also be 5/50.

4.) Each character has its own independent current energy value, and share the same max cap. So you could have your main with 7/60, and alts with 0/60, 34/60, and any other value of x/60. But all would share a max cap of 60.

5.) All characters on the account share the same map and quest history, other than the tutorial quest, which is individual to each character.

6.) All characters on the same account share mounts, pets, vehicles, nodes, houses, knowledge, and all warehouses.

7.) I've found that crafting (Life skills) levels, energy levels (but not cap), and inventory space are all separate.

8.) You could leave an alt in your house to be your permanent cook (particularly good also for them to craft/hold all your beer so when workers are exhausted you can just switch to them and feed them)

9.) You could leave an alt in the library in Calpheon to allow for instant knowledge reset (the knowledge level you get for fighting mobs is random, and if you want a higher level you have to spend energy to reset it and then try again. This way you don't have to go back and forth)

10.) You could park an alt at a favorable fishing spot to quickly switch to when you are going to be afk for awhile.

    Energy regeneration:
One thing to note is how energy regenerates. Online energy regeneration is 1 per 3 minutes, unless you lay in a bed in a residence while online, in which case it is 1 per 1-2 minutes depending on the quality of bed you own. Offline energy regeneration is 1 per 30 minutes.

    Outro:
Alright! those are just about all the tips i could find for alts, if there are any more y'all found please feel free to leave them below and I'll be sure to add them in. I hope you guys all have a wonderful time in BDO and I'll see y'all in game. Marshal out o/
