Has anyone given this game a try? Is it worth playing in its current state? It looks pretty cool. Also I was looking at a new game called Savage Lands that is more of a fantasy setting survival game.....But yeah both of these look pretty sweet!
LiF is great fun, but heavily centred around having guilds to play with, since the "your own" version is a shrunk down prototype for the mmo they are making, good thing is if you buy on you get the other free. Haven't played it since before xmas but i sank a few hundred hours into it easily just doing construction of keeps and buildings i needed, and the combat system from mount and blade is in it so thats also a plus. Its a good game, only downside is that it is def made for multiplayer, you can setup your own server and change the rules in how fast you learn, or just find a server with the rules on them, either way, its worth looking into.
