Hey I know the roster is on there for transparency and thats a good thing but I think it gives of a ton of tactical data to anyone planning on decking us. Just a though.
I'm not sure how they could use it. I'm trying to think of one good example they could use this on us in battle.. I mean they could go pick some players off, but in the Heat of any type of battle, with 40-50 ppl charging, not sure how they would use our spreadsheet to pick us off.. The only thing I could think of honestly would be Poaching our Members with high Gear Score, but if those members leave that easy, were they worth it?
I can understand both sides of the fence. however I think the benefits of it FAR outweighs the negatives. However, would it be possible now that we are nearing a stable membership (within reason) to make it where the spreadsheets are viewable ONLY to website members... Though without integration I am not sure if there is a way to automate that function? I know it's not much but it adds that one extra step that if someone IS trying to get a tactical advantage or is trying to poach they might not do. Similar defense to what some people do against bots. add an extra step that some might not want to do. I do think we need the roster and other various spreadsheets. it REALLY helps our organization.
